Do you use a program like ClickFunnels, LeadPages, or Kajabi to host your landing pages?
What would happen if a minor backend change caused all of your frontend landing page links to change? Well, most likely, any interested buyers heading over to your landing page would get a 404 error instead of being offered your killer product!
Uh oh! That means zero profit for you!
Recently, I had a client request that we change her Kajabi domain. Initially, this was terrifying. I had instant anxiety over how in the heck I was going to find all of the landing page links I had sprinkled all over her website to avoid all of those nasty 404 errors. However! It dawned on me that I use a maintenance plugin on her website that could help complete this process in just a few, painless minutes!
The plugin I’m using in the video is called Broken Link Checker and it’s free inside the WordPress plugin library.
I’m taking you behind the scenes to walk through this process with me so you can see how implementing this maintenance feature can make big, scary changes like this go off without a hitch!
If you want more information on the other maintenance strategies I teach in my online WordPress maintenance course, type “maintenance” in the comments below!
